A word originating in the U.S. in the 1920’s meaning a stupid or oafish person, Based on the American comic book character Joe Palooka a Boxer over time evolving into a term of endearment as a simple but lovable character. The word Palookaville is an extension of this slang to refer to a place of simple people or simple principles

By forgoing a few of the luxury elements of dining like table service, linen etc and removing the ‘fluff’ we are able to improve the quality of the ingedients and the preperation of the dishes to bring you a better deal. At the end of the day what would you prefer a great meal at a great price or an average meal, with mediocre table service and a pretty table setting?
